Captivating “Vitamin Weed by Dr. Michelle Ross ” Book Reveals All

Leadership with education

Over time I like to share research and keep us up to date when it comes to brain health. I’d like to introduce you to the woman whom I follow and get most of my information from. Meet Dr. Michelle Ross, who recently released a book called “Vitamin Weed.” Vitamin Weed is a concept that introduces Cannabis as a medicine without the stigma of the “HIGH.”

Did you know, that your plant contains more than 200 cannabinoids, flavonoids, vitamins, fibre’s, acids and so much more? Your plant has become your own FARMacy and it’s up to us to learn why? The concepts of using the entire plant to give us more Cannabinoids in order to heal from our deficiencies and continue to stabilize my condition through “The Entourage Effect – Using the entire plant.” Addressing my endocannabinoid deficiencies will hopefully show you why I do the things I do.

When it comes to Dementia and Alzheimer’s we are at the crisis point with our Endocannabinoid deficiencies. Our brains are screaming for nutrients, oxygen, stress-free environments and non-toxic relationships. How do we address this system that is responsible to keeping our brains healthy? Full Spectrum, Organic, Fresh Harvest, No pesticides, no chemicals, no bugs, no mold…Cannabis Oil. Also, what if we were born with mutant cells or predisposed to brain disease, by adding CBD & THC & the entire plant, you are addressing your entire core body and all that exists to keep you balanced.

Fortunately, at the time of my unstable health, I saw one of Dr. Ross’ video’s and started on the path of Neuro Genesis and Cannabis Oil Therapy. Without this progressive information, I would not be here today. I stand by her research and am proof that a regimented and strict treatment of natural brain therapies can mean the difference between life and death.

This is why I use Dr. Ross’ research to prove that Cannabis is vital to one’s brain health as preventative and treatment care. Welcome to the rest of your brain life…

VITAMIN WEED by Dr. Michelle Ross:

“As a neuroscientist, Dr. Michele Ross was frustrated by the lack of education on the endocannabinoid system both doctors and scientists received, despite medical cannabis being used by millions of patients nationwide. In 2013, she founded the “Endocannabinoid Deficiency Foundation,” now known as IMPACT Network, with the mission to drive clinical research on cannabis for women’s health. She is now CEO of Infused Health, a platform for cannabis coaching.

Dr. Ross is both a cannabinoid medicine researcher and a cannabis patient. After being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, neuropathy, and chronic pelvic pain, cannabis was the only thing that reduced her symptoms and allowed her to return to work. After hearing thousands of extraordinary patient stories just like hers, Dr. Ross was compelled to ensure cannabis becomes part of the American healthcare system.

Dr. Ross is a proud advocate of botanical and psychedelic medicine, and has formulated and marketed nutraceuticals for companies around the globe. She has also been a leader in digital health and education, crafting continuing medical education for health professionals as well as creating online communities for patients. She is also author of two books, “Train Your Brain to Get Thin” and “Vitamin Weed: A 4-Step Plan to Prevent and Reverse Endocannabinoid Deficiency.” Dr. Ross holds a Doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and has researched addiction, mental health, and psychopharmacology for over a decade. Fun fact: she was the first scientist to star on a reality television show, starring on Big Brother 11 on CBS in 2009.”

Countdown to Re-legalization

Did you know?

It’s about 3-4 months till Canada legalizes our Native plant for medical and recreational use. Do I take a sigh of relief or do we need to hide our inherent right to medicate for healing purposes?

If we follow in the footsteps of our Mother Earth and put the plant first; we will unite under the protection of this sacred medicine. Regardless of race, our rights as patients who need this medicine to live, becomes the driving force.

From an Aboriginal perspective, I praise the efforts of my community to “legally” own the rights and reclaim this Native plant after all this prohibition time. From an Irish Canadian point of view, I hope that women and patients will become the priority and majority in the medical cannabis field.

Again we are at the mercy of the federal government, but if Prime Minister Trudeau actually follows through with legalization, I know I will be in control of my future and won’t be persecuted for seeking a CBD/THC treatment plan.

Then hopefully lead to employing people with disabilities to work in the cannabis industry that will improve our socio-economic future on several levels. We will be able to medicate and balance our work lives to accommodate our disabilities and enrich our culture more so.

After restarting my research, I found this Aboriginal Canadian network that covers exactly my concerns and hopes for our cannabis community.

“National Indigenous Medical Cannabis Association (NIMCA)

“Specifically, NIMCA’s role is the following, but not limited to the self-regulation of Indigenous medical cannabis industry through the application of Indigenous political and economic principals and governance that will:

o Uphold Indigenous sovereignty self-determination

o Protect minors and families;

o Keep organized crime out of legit Indigenous hemp and cannabis industries;

o Provide the education, awareness, policy and capacity necessary to provide quality control and safe handling;

o Develop a cannabis treatment program to combat the opioid crisis that has gripped Indigenous and mainstream society;

o Ensure standardized testing and consistency of product quality;

o Safety and security;

o Education and awareness within the industry and consumers;

o Regulate pricing of products;

o Generate new training, jobs and economy of scale for Indigenous people and nations;

o Ensure fair wages, benefits and a safe work environment for all employees; and,

o To promote the overall health and well-being of all communities.

More Aboriginal Success in Securing the Rights to Native Medicines

Phil Fontaine, the former National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, is partnering in a JOINT venture with Cronos Group called “Indigenous Roots.” There will be many facets of this development that include but are not limited to, Agriculture, Accountant, Wealth participation, Infrastructure and Capacity Building including distribution to bring medicine back home to our Native lands.

Cronos

This agreement also included the aspect of “True BARTER – 50% 50%” to honour the sacred ways our Ancestors used to trade for their living. This is a different approach to working with “Indigenous Roots,” by splitting everything evenly as partners, not just offering money, it’s a working relationship.

Cronos has a Whistler Cannabis production centre that only grows organic. They create their own super soil, and meet the standards to be certified 100% organic. But will they fall to using pesticides as two other Cdn. non-related Cannabis grow hubs were caught using pesticides? This is where the home grower comes into play growing their own medicine in order to keep an eye on the quality control and test the actual product instantly.

My hope is that “Indigenous Roots” will represent Cannabis culture in a good way. The way of the Red Road, to encourage sobriety and responsible dosing. Once our Elders and community starts healing through oil, I believe PTSD could be a thing of the past.  If their partnership works out, First Nations socio-economic conditions could improve drastically and stop the cycle of violence stemming from our past.
